Global SAP Manager SCM/Operations and Industrial Processes

The Global Manager SCM/Operations and Industrial Processes - the IT function Business Applications covers a diverse and challenging spectrum of the end-to-end global supply chain management, operations and Industrial processes as well as their applications in the IT-platforms. While working on this position you will be a first contact person for all IT-related SCM and operations matters of Atotech,  a brand within the Materials Solutions Division of MKS Instruments. You will define and implement modern IT-solutions across different platforms – with the target of maximum productivity and automation for the related business processes.

Your responsibility:

• Management and development of the global team
• Conceptualization and development of the SAP platforms with focus on SAP SCM, operations and related platforms/ systems
• Management of manufacturing Execution Systems and all related systems globally
• consulting internal customers regarding innovative business and technical requirements
• implementation of resulting requirements through defined (agile) projects, change requests and improvements
• documentation of projects, developments, system settings and processes; assurance of reporting
• communication with software manufacturers and external project staff
• advising internally on the introduction and/or changes for SCM/Operations and Industrial IT processes and frameworks
• development of standardized illustrations of IT architecture in the respective area
• responsibility for the global SAP Platforms’ integrity related to SAP SCM/Operations and Industrial IT and connected systems, collaboration in the implementation of further SAP platforms of the MKS worldwide
• supervisor and contact person for employees and external companies regarding technical issues, especially compliance with SLA contracts in the area of IT support and IT change request processes for SAP SCM, Operations and Industrial IT

Your profile:

• University degree preferably in computer science, business administration, engineering or comparable qualification
• experience in managing a global team
• several years of corresponding professional experience in the above area, preferably as an in-house or an external consultant/manager working in a global environment
• ability to prepare and present business concepts related to IT-platforms implementation
• knowledge of BPM systems, e.g. SAP Signavio
• experience in (agile) project management, PM certification is a plus
• very good technical knowledge of the IT/SAP platforms in the SCM/Operations area, especially related to SAP ERP/S4HANA, SAP IBP, SAP Ariba and connected satellite systems to ensure end-to-end process coverage
• good knowledge of the modern, state-of-the-art IT solutions in the area of industrial IT/MES and the production control system
• very good knowledge of written and spoken English
