Purpose

 

The purpose of this position is to provide professional IT support to all internal and external IT customers. Support for all Atotech approved Digital Workplace applications will be provided while adhering to established SLA’s. Position will be a Business Owner and Champion for the Atotech collaboration Components such as Microsoft Teams, Lifesize, Bluejeans, Teams Integration with Telephony Solutions along with the back-office applications. Work with the global Field Service and Infrastructure Teams to identify, analyse, and resolve IT issues in a timely fashion. Participation in projects as directed by the Manager Digital workplace is required. Independent and Team driven identification and implementation of IT and business process enhancements is expected.

 

IT vendor management is a critical aspect of this position. Vendors may be local, regional, or global. Participation in vendor governance activities is required.

 

Principal Accountabilities

 

  • Serve as Component Owner & Subject matter expert and for the Atotech collaboration tools: MS Teams including telephony, 8x8, HoloLens, Lifesize, Video Conferencing equipment & upcoming Collaboration tools.
  • Champion the Digital Workplace applications and ensure all support activities, including phone calls, are well documented in the global Help Desk application
  • Respond to all customer requests for assistance in a professional manner
  • Drive the adoption of the given applications across the organization, providing advice on the skills and knowledge needed to support these applications in the future.
  • Translate requirements into architectural design and influence the deployment of related infrastructure components
  • Design, construct, configure and maintain all facets of the component owner products
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and thoroughly document reported problems
  • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, include end-users, local management.
  • A proven track record of accomplishments and strong interpersonal skills are required
  • Respond to customer requests and provide timely status updates within established SLA’s

Education & Experience

  • 4 years of experience in IT technical support, additional experience in lieu of degree requirement
  • IT technical certifications a plus, Microsoft environment.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Several years in practical experience with Microsoft collaboration products, especially Teams including telephony and given collaboration tools
