Role: PLC Software Engineer

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced PLC software engineer to become a valuable part of our automation project
development team! You will be analyzing system requirements, developing, and installing custom programmable
logic code, testing system efficiency and performance, and providing operational customer support. To ensure
success as a PLC developer, you should have excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, a logical approach, and be
able to work with minimal supervision. As a skilled PLC developer, you can easily identify and design a robust
program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work
in Agile team to design, build and roll-out our system software that delivers the company’s vision and strategy.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Developing and installing automation programs using Atotech automation software and custom coding
- languages. Determining machine automation test criteria before the final roll-out.
- Testing of solution for safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- System and software troubleshooting.
- Documenting development processes.
- Providing clients with technical support.
Qualifications / Professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience in industrial controllers programming.
- Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages o profound expertise in PLC
- programming with IEC 61131-3 languages (SFC, ST)
- JavaScript programming experience
- Strong skills in SCADA systems development and commissioning
- Expertise in EtherCAT interface
- Good English spoken and written skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel when required.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a PLC programmer.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of CAN and PROFIBUS fieldbuses
- Knowledge of frequency inverters
- Expertise in industrial robots programming
- Knowledge of SQL
