Summary
Digital Workplace Specialist works with IT and business stakeholders to effectively support all internal/external customers and solution partners for the Company's digital workplace applications. DW Specialist will also be a part of strategic projects design, implementation and driving adoption among the users, as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Function as a component owner and subject matter expert for the company's collaboration tools MS Teams and Telephony Solutions & MS Teams (integration),
- Provide professional support for other existing collaboration tools including 8x8, HoloLens, Lifesize, BlueJeans, Video Conferencing amongst others.
- Translate requirements of business into architectural design and influence the deployment of related infrastructure components.
- Design, construct, configure and maintain all facets of the component owner products of Enterprise Telecom solutions.
- Be an expert of the digital workplace applications and provide timely resolution of queries or issues to the internal & external customers within specified duration.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues being reported by the internal customers.
- Use Global HelpDesk application to ensure all the support activities are documented.
- Drive adoption of these tools in the across organisations by educating the employees and helping them with knowledge and skills to use them.
- Contributes to the creation and maintenance of digital workplace architecture artefacts, including conceptual and logical architectures.
- Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with a different stakeholder of the position including local management, end-users, vendors etc.
- Vendor management for the defined tools at local, regional, or global level as required.
- Participate in vendor governance activities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors in Computer Science/ Information Systems or other relevant disciplines
- More than 5 years of experience
- Proven experience in managing collaboration tools specifically MS Teams Administrations and MS Based Telephony Solutions.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive team player who is ready to learn, help and enjoys working with their teammates.
- Relevant Certifications in IT tools and/or Microsoft environment video conferencing solutions (preferred)
