Teamlead Sales Operations (m/f/d) - Europe

The Operations team builds the backbone of all operational activitieswith the goal to ensure that our customers receive the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time and at the right quality. We are continuously monitoring, checking,and optimizing our supplier base, production location and distribution networks to make this happen. As Teamlead Sales Operations -Europe(m/f/d)you will be part of a high motivated and high performing team of specialists and open-minded colleagues.You will be entrusted with a high degree of responsibility, strengthen your leadership skills, and have exposure to Atotech’s upper management.


Your responsibility:


  • Transformation of current Sales Backoffice (SBO) setup in Europe into the target organizationto achieve lean organization 
  • Organizational, technical and personal management of European SBO group in 14 countries / 4 clusters
  • Coordination, improvement and standardization of work processes within SBO team and all interface departmentslike Sales, Finance and EU Supply Chain
  • Monitoring of compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and internal policies
  • Support of local Sales teams / clusters in terms of invoicing, maintenance of SAP master data like price lists, customer agreements, forecast generation, credit management, customer complaints and customer consignment stocksIntegration of an e-commerce tool
  • Evaluate delivery performance for direct customers and determine cause of delayed deliveries and agree with Supply chain team the improvement plan
  • Support of global SBO concept roll-outandensure the flow ofinformation from local sales team to the SCM organization


Your skills and competences:


  • BA or equivalent degree in business administration, sales or economics with strong affinity for technical processesor similar
  • Extensiveexperience in leadingand structuring,sales or supply chain organizationin the B2B sector, preferably in the chemical / engineering industry
  • Proactive, strong sense of ownership, goal-oriented and a positive mindsetto change
  • Highly organized, self-sufficient working attitude with an attention to detailand affinity for digitalization of processes
  • Strong communication skills in English both spoken and written
  • Very good skills and methodology to motivate and foster collaboration•Experience with working in international and intercultural settings
  • SAP ERP user experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel on business within EU
