In your role as a Scientist (m/f/d) you will be part of the global Electronics team to translate customer requirements into Atotech solutions. You will extend the existing product portfolio and help handover new products to the customer and participate in projects to optimize our products and processes.


Where your expertise is needed


  • Project management as well as planning, control, implementation, and evaluation of development projects according to project planning
  • Independent and autonomous laboratory work and transfer of laboratory tests to technical scales (including control of large technical plants if required)
  • Process support of field tests at customers (implementation, transfer, supervision, improvement and evaluation)
  • Conducting literature and patent research
  • Preparation of documentation, documents, regulations and reports
  • Presentation of results internally as well as externally, if necessary, preparation of publications
  • Ensuring confidentiality in the area for which you are responsible
  • Contact person and consultant for employees and external parties in case of technical concerns
  • Active participation in interdisciplinary and international project teams


      What we‘re looking for


  • Degree in chemistry, physics, materials science or a comparable course of study, PhD desired
  • Knowledge in the field of electrochemistry and metal deposition is an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of printed circuit board process technology and / or semiconductor process technology
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Business fluent knowledge of English
  • Analytical thinking, knowledge of statistics, ability to work in a team and structured way in a dynamic environment
  • High willingness to travel, even on short notice, in the context of international projects
