Industrial Digitalization & IoT Manager (m/f/d)

In your role as Industrial Digitalization & IoT Manager (m/f/d) you will be joining a global, market leading company, providing innovative solutions for the Semi-conductor, Electronics, and General Metal Finishing industries. You will have a full and busy agenda, but will also have the opportunity of expanding your role and opportunities, as we are investing heavily in IoT technology both in our own facilities and in innovative solutions for our customers. Many of these innovations are based around productivity but are more importantly, helping customers to achieve their ESG goals and reduce their carbon footprint. You will lead a team of 3 colleagues. The role will initially have the following scope:

Your responsibilities

• You will develop and manage roadmap for MES roll out across the organization
• For our Core Chemistry business
  • Global rollout of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) over the next 2-3 years, including countries such as China, India, South Korea, Japan, and North America.
  • The introduction of this system is focused to provide a Safe Environment, IP protection, drive Quality and to minimize scrap and re-work costs.
• For our Semi-conductor production
  • Scope and upgrade existing MES system to ensure that we have quality and process control at the PPB level which the industry requires. 

What you bring to the table

• Completed (technical) university studies as an engineer (m/f/d) specializing in process engineering or a comparable qualification
• Very good technical knowledge of MES architecture and the production control systems
• Experience working with MES systems
• Self-reflective and collaborative personality with strong emotional intelligence
• Confident, authentic communicator at eye level combined with excellent project and multi-stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of business contexts, the digital economy, digital business models and modern leadership approaches as well as the motivation to continuously develop your expertise
• Willingness to travel on business in Germany and abroad
