IT Architect (m/f/d)

This is an exciting opportunity for an IT Architect (m/f/d) who is at the beginning of their career in architecture, wants to continue learning, contributing, and ultimately developing into an Enterprise Architect over time. You will be part of the architecture team with a common goal of delivering the best possible solutions to our customers, on time, on budget and on brand. This position is also suitable for a systems designer or developer or system analyst who wants to transition into IT Architecture area. You will need to be architecturally minded and having a firm grasp on both abstract thinking and conceptual design which is integral to succeeding in this role.



Your responsibilities

  • Gather all information required to produce an accurate IT Architecture drawing by working with various stakeholders and referring to technical/design documents
  • Produce detailed architecture drawings using software like Signavio, LeanIX, Visio or similar tools and continually update those drawings for it accuracy
  • Analyze existing IT systems Landscape, Interview Users, conduct surveys to gather information about software applications, hardware components, data objects, Interfaces etc. and maintain the information in a central Repository
  • Create Technology Architecture, Application Architecture, Integration Architecture and Data Architecture diagrams by working with fellow Architects and Designers
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders and Business Process Management Team to create process flow diagrams, cross-functional flow charts etc.
  • Design and conduct hardware and software tests by working closely with Applications/Infrastructure Architects, Developers and consultants to choose compatible solution designs
  • Conduct design meeting / Workshops with internal users and external partners and deliver clear visual presentations, solution proposals, cost estimates and timelines etc.          



Your skills and competences

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer/software engineering or computer science or equivalent
  • 1- 3 years of experience working as IT Architect or Systems Designer or Business process expert or Developer
  • Experience in using design drawing tools like Signavio, Visio, LeanIX etc.
  • Knowledge of ERP and CRM Applications like SAP, Salesforce etc. and AWS or AZURE Cloud infrastructure Solutions is desirable
  • Experience in producing Solution, Application or Data architectures and business process diagrams
  • Must be a team player since the job involves collaboration with other IT professionals and business users to arrive at valid solutions
  • Be able to effectively communicate the rationale behind design decisions through strong oral and written communication skills to internal and external parties
  • Self-directed with a high level of initiative and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
