Global Director HR Business Partner (m/f/d)

We are offering an exciting position as Global Director HR Business Partner (m/f/d) where you will be a trusted sparring partner for the leaders of our Materials Solutions Division (MSD). In this key role, with no direct reports, you will work globally with the leaders of this division to enable strategic business initiatives. Working with our Centers of Excellence, you will execute business and talent strategy. Join us as we continue to grow organically and through acquisitions.
What you will do
- Provide strategic guidance on people and organizational issues: Employee Relations, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management and HR initiatives.
- Help the organization grow by diagnosing gaps between current and desired organization performance, provide strategic counsel to leadership and deploy actions to help resolve gaps in the areas of organizational effectiveness, organizational design, talent management, succession, employee development, executive coaching and employee relations.
- Working with the Talent and Business Partner teams, evolve and embed talent strategies to enable diversity, inclusion and engagement.
- Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., Workforce Planning, Total Rewards, Organizational Change, Performance Management, Talent Development, and Succession Planning).
- Collaborate with local HR team on matters related to German labor law and employee relations
- Create strong partnerships with workers council to facilitate dialogue and collaboration
What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience (Master’s Degree is desired).
- Progressive Human Resources experience in areas like; employee relations, talent management, compensation & benefits, performance management, recruiting, and training appropriate for this position.
- Ability to guide senior Executives to navigate their way through German labor law in collaboration with internal and external legal counsel
- High level knowledge of German labor relations and workers council
- Experience managing change, shaping culture, influencing leadership, developing talent, managing risk and ensuring compliance.
- Experience and ability to deliver in a fast paced, high-growth, changing environment
- Success working in a collaborative, matrixed environment, and a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
- Demonstrated ability to address difficult issues and make independent decisions.
- Ability to think critically, troubleshoot and solve problems with confidence
